What action can we take against Morehouse College for sending a "premature" admission acceptance post card?

After he received the post card of congratulations on his acceptance he was sent an email apologizing for receiving this "communication in error" and that we should contact them regarding his application and admission status? Is it fair that they are able retract their decision even if it was an "error in communication" within their admission department? They made a decision, premature or not, they shouldn't take that decision back. Why disappoint?
